About Me
Hi there!
I’m Jesper, I’m a software developer based in Denmark, recently graduated as an AP in Computer Science (Datamatiker) from UCL Odense. I love working in the C# and .NET ecosystem, especially when it comes to building things from scratch. For me, coding is about more than making a program work—it’s about being creative and efficient, writing clean code that can be passed on, figuring out the architecture, and keeping things secure while doing it.
Before making the jump into IT, I worked as a Laboratory Technician, where I focused on automation, data, and robotics. That time left its mark on the way I think about things: I care a lot about precision, data integrity, and testing things thoroughly. I’ve found that those habits translate pretty nicely into writing good software.
While I really enjoy untangling backend logic and designing databases, my biggest focus and passion right now is cyber security. I’m currently taking the CyberBridge course, getting my hands dirty with things like vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges. I’m still green, but figuring out how to actively secure, analyze, and defend systems really fascinates me.
When I want a creative break, game development is my go-to hobby. Tinkering with solid gameplay architecture and tweaking mechanics until they feel just right is incredibly satisfying to me. Ultimately, I’m just someone who loves figuring things out. If I don’t know a concept or a tool, my first instinct is to dive in, break it apart, and learn it. Hopefully also learning to put it back together again afterwards, if needed.
